The Moscow national team becomes the absolute champion of WorldSkills Russia for the second year in a row
The competitions were held in seven blocks: from construction to the service sector.

The final of the IX National Championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) has completed. Representatives of the Moscow team won 236 medals, 160 of them gold, as Sergei Sobyanin wrote in his account on the VKontakte social media. 

 

For the second year in a row, the Moscow national team became the absolute champion of the IX contest of young professionals #WorldSkillsRussia. Our folks won 236 medals, 160 of them gold! The national team of the capital was represented in 90 out of 105 adult competencies and in 56 out of 58 junior ones. 193 contestants from Moscow competed in the in-person part of the championship final, which was held in Ufa this year. The competitions were held in seven areas, such as construction and construction technologies, information and communication technologies, creativity and design, production and engineering technologies, services, transport and logistics, and education. More than 1800 contestants and two thousand experts participated.

The final of the WorldSkills Russia national championship is held annually within the framework of the federal project “Young Professionals” (improving the competitiveness of vocational education) of the Education national project. Competitions are held among students aged from 16 to 22 years and schoolchildren from 10 to 16 years. The Moscow national team becomes the absolute champion of the national championship for the second time. Last year, the Moscow participants won 183 awards.
