Cafes and restaurants free of coronavirus will be open in Moscow. In his blog, Sergei Sobyanin told about their operation, as well as about holding entertainment events, the work of playgrounds and game rooms.

Moscow Mayor discussed the public catering outlets operation during a difficult epidemiological situation at a meeting with representatives of the restaurant business. Mandatory vaccination of the industry employees will take from one and a half to two months, but cafes and restaurants should continue their activity. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure the maximum safety of visitors. Such an experiment will begin on June 19.

“Let’s take a few enterprises as an experiment. You don’t need a lot, at least 10-15. We will declare these restaurants to be no-coronavirus territories, for visiting of which a QR code confirming vaccination is required, which should be downloaded from the public services website. In a week, we will set up an information control system, work out the technology, and understand how it works. And then it will be possible to replicate this experience,” Sergei Sobyanin wrote.

For children, an exception will be made, but they must come to that places together with adults.

About entertainment

Moscow Mayor also added that from June 18, spectacular events in the city are limited — no more than a thousand people will be able to attend them.

“This means that theaters and cinemas will be able to work. And we will suspend mass entertainment events for a while. Dance floors and fan zones will also have to be closed,” he said.

In addition, game rooms and playgrounds in parks will be closed for the time being.

About revaccination

Now it is vital to start revaccination. A decision on this issue will be made in the near future.

“Technically, everything is clear. Revaccination will be carried out with the first component of the vaccine. If it was a Sputnik, then the first component of the Sputnik. There are no other options yet,” Sergei Sobyanin wrote.

As for the vaccination of foreigners working in Moscow, last year it was decided to provide Russian citizens with the vaccine first of all. Now the production of the Sputnik Light vaccine has begun.

“Most likely, we will get permission to use it for vaccination of migrants. According to our calculations, this will happen in early July, maybe even earlier,” Sergei Sobyanin said.
