Travel by MCC on City Day will be free
This is to celebrate the fifth anniversary of launching traffic on the Moscow Central Circle.

Travel by the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) will be free for all passengers on the City Day, September 11. Sergei Sobyanin made this announcement on his Twitter account.

The MCC traffic was launched in 2016. This significantly improved the transport situation in many districts of the city. Residential communities and business centers are constructed next to the circle stations. MCC carried 98 million people in the first year of operation, 124 million in the second year, and 142 million in the third year. Experts assume that passenger traffic will keep growing in the future.

To make travel more comfortable, opening of new lobbies is underway and intervals between trains are made shorter. Recently, a double-decker train was launched to run on the circle — Moscow residents will decide whether to have it on a permanent basis.
