Sergei Sobyanin spotlights road and interchange construction projects in Moscow
The direct MHSD — Kashirskoye Highway exit towards the Moscow Ring Road and the road bridge across the Moskva River at Myasishchev Street are 75 per cent ready. The transport interchange near the future Kornilovskaya metro station is, for the most part, completed, too.

Moscow expands the road framework, creating convenient transport connections, as announced by Sergei Sobyanin on his Telegram channel.

“The direct MHSD — Kashirskoye Highway exit towards the Moscow Ring Road is 75 per cent ready. Now, we are building a railway overpass without stopping train traffic. With the new route, drivers won’t have to make a detour on this section; traffic congestion on Kaspiyskaya Street will relieved, too,” wrote Moscow Mayor.

Moreover, the transport interchange in the vicinity of the future Kornilovskaya metro station is 58 per cent complete. The viaduct construction and engineering system arrangements are being underway at the moment. The interchange will make it possible for drivers to leave Kaluzhskoye Highway towards the metro and a large shopping mall. It will also reduce the load on the existing interchange between Kaluzhskoye Highway and the Moscow Ring Road.

Meanwhile, the road bridge across the Moskva River near Myasishchev Street is 75 per cent ready as well as it has already connected the two banks; now builders are creating access roads and an underground passageway.

When launched, the bridge will enable a direct connection between the Filyovsky Park and Khoroshevo-Mnevniki districts. So, their residents will be able to comfortably get to the Mnevniki station of the Big Circle Line, and the Mnevniki floodplain  area will be linked to the National Space Center.
