Sergei Sobyanin: Moscow parks were visited about 89 million times this summer

In summer, Moscow parks were visited about 89 million times, and more than 10,000 different events were held in them. The pools, summer movie theaters, artificial wave and outdoor libraries were particularly popular with guests. Sergei Sobyanin reported in a post in his channel on the MAX messenger.
“The highlight event was the Park Symphony Festival. Top Moscow artists performed classical works in a small symphony orchestra. For the first time this season, film screenings, lectures and master classes held as part of the Cinema in the Parks project were held in five open-air cinemas. These events were attended by about 100,000 people,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

Urban vegetable gardens have sprung up in parks — welcoming places where anyone can learn how to grow vegetables. And for those wishing to play sports, grounds have been created where regular training sessions and competitions are held.
“We do our best to make the summer in the city interesting, varied and healthy,” concluded the Mayor of Moscow.
