Sergei Sobyanin: Moskino Cinema Park has become one of the most popular filming locations

Since the beginning of the year, the Moskino film commission has received more than one thousand applications for filming. This is 53 percent more than a year ago, Sergei Sobyanin said on his Telegram channel.
“One in four applications is for filming at Moskino Cinema Park. This is one of the most popular sites in the city. In just three months, 15 projects were made here,” the Mayor of Moscow noted.

This interest was a result of the unique capabilities of the cinema park. Here, directors can turn into reality the most daring ideas, and — most importantly — quickly. For example, for the film He Was Not on the Lists, a Brest Fortress set was built in just 90 days, and a whole Italian town was made for the film Buratino.
From application to obtaining permits and coordination, the groups are assisted at every stage by the film committee. Movie commissioners work on the sets. They have traveled to 265 shoots so far this year.
All of this greatly simplifies the process and gives a major boost to the film industry in Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin added.
