Design Concept
Currently the station is 55 percent complete.

The visual design of the new Narodnoe Opolchenie station, on the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya metro line, has been approved. Sergei Sobyanin announced the news on his Telegram channel.

“In terms of its decoration and color scheme it will resemble the first metro stations. Thus, along the platform there will be two rows of columns with built-in lighting, forming vaults. A similar design solution can be seen in Kropotkinskaya station, built back in 1935,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

According to the approved design, the station color scheme is dominated by gray and red. All finishing materials will be produced in Russia.

It will be a shallow station, with two concourses and exits to Demyana Bednogo Street and Marshala Zhukova Avenue. The southern concourse will be connected by an interchange with Narodnoe Opolchenie station of the Bolshaya Koltsevaya Line. Currently the station is 55 percent complete.
