The Mayor of Moscow announces the growth of high-tech industries in the capital

In Moscow, the turnover of high-tech industries has doubled. Sergei Sobyanin reported the news in his Telegram channel.
“The main contribution to the growth was made by the production of computers and peripherals, monitoring and measuring devices, navigation devices and apparatus, watches, parts and printed circuit boards for electronic equipment and telecommunications equipment,” reported the Mayor of Moscow.

Small businesses have also become drivers of the industry’s development. The turnover of small enterprises increased by a factor of 2.6 and their share of the market rose to 34.7 percent.
High-tech manufacturing is one of the fastest growing industrial sectors in the capital. In 2024, the output of computer, optical and electronic equipment in Moscow increased by a factor of more than 2.1. This is the result, among other things, of the city’s active support for and attraction of investments in the development of enterprises.
Last year alone, 30 new high-tech enterprises opened in the Moscow Technopolis Special Economic Zone.
