Sergei Sobyanin: Through the Moskino platform, 632 projects were approved for filming last year

Last year, work on the filming of 632 projects was coordinated through the Moskino film platform Sergei Sobyanin announced the news via his Telegram channel.

“These included feature films, documentaries, series, TV projects and music videos. For the first time the shooting of a foreign movie, The Greatest of All Time (India), was approved via the platform,” said the Mayor of Moscow.

The films were shot at various locations in the city. The filming locations included popular green areas of the city: Sokolniki, Izmailovsky and Rostokinsky Aqueduct Parks. Since last year it has been possible to use the film platform to coordinate filming in diverse locations on Moscow’s streets and roads.

Via the Moskino platform film producers can book locations for filming, select costumes and props and learn about the city’s support measures. And those who love movies can register for free screenings at the Moskino cinema chain and buy tickets to the film park’s events.

Launched just over a year ago, the Moskino movie platform has already won prestigious awards. In 2024, it was visited by over 500,000 unique users.
