Sergei Sobyanin: 280 new residential buildings launched in Moscow after renovation program kick-off

Four million square meters of housing have been commissioned in the capital since the launch of the renovation program with a total of 280 new residential buildings in 84 neighborhoods across all administrative districts of Moscow. the finished housing to provide new homes for about 150,000 Muscovites, Sergei Sobyanin writes on his Telegram channel.
“More than 117 thousand people have already held housewarming parties, and over 26 thousand program participants are awaiting their documents or on the move,” wrote Moscow Mayor.
This year alone, Moscow has got 52 new apartment buildings, 36,540 residents already moving to new homes; another 438 buildings are being designed or built at the moment.
Endorsed on August 1, 2017, the renovation program covers 5,175 residential facilities with more than 350,000 apartments, which are home to almost one million Muscovites.
