Sergei Sobyanin: Over 30 cultural heritage sites restored at VDNKh

Over 30 cultural heritage sites have been restored at VDNKh, as announced by Sergei Sobyanin on his Telegram channel.

“These are, in particular, Pavilion No. 1 Central, Pavilion No. 5 Physics, Pavilion No. 11 Metallurgy, Pavilion No. 30 Microbiological Industry, Pavilion No. 31 Geology, Pavilion No.34 Cosmos, Pavilion No. 51 Meat Industry, Pavilion No. 59 Grain, and Pavilion No. 66 Soviet Culture,” wrote Moscow Mayor.

Architects have also revamped the main, northern and southern entrances, 14 fountains of the Central Alley, in addition to the Friendship of Peoples, Stone Flower and Golden Ear fountains.

The revival program for VDNKh, the world’s largest exhibition, museum and recreational complex, has run since 2014.

Muscovites are welcome to vote for their favorite renovated VDNKh cultural heritage site via the Active Citizen project.
