Vladimir Iosifovich Resin – the Moscow City First Deputy Mayor in the Moscow City Government, Head of the Moscow City Architecture, Construction, Development and Reconstruction Complex
Vladimir Iosifovich was born in 1936 in Minsk.
He graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute, Doctor of Economics, professor.
Vladimir Iosifovich worked for various enterprises of coal mining industry of the USSR, then in the field of installation services and specialized construction; since 1974 he held executive offices in the Moscow City construction industry.
In 1991 Vladimir Iosifovich Resin was appointed Deputy Premier Minister of the Moscow City Government as well as the Minister of the Moscow City Government.
In 1992 he became the First Deputy Premier Minister of the Moscow City Government.
In January 2000 Mr. Resin was reappointed First Deputy Premier Minister of the Moscow City Government and became the Head of the Moscow City architecture, construction, development and reconstruction Complex.
From 2001 to present day Vladimir Iosifovich Resin is the Moscow City First Deputy Mayor and the Head of the Moscow City architecture, construction, development and reconstruction Complex.
He was awarded with seven orders and several medals, has four Letters of Appreciation of the President of the Russian Federation. Mr. Resin received several State Awards of the USSR and the Russian Federation; he was also nominated an Honoured Constructor of the Russian Federation.
Vladimir Iosifovich is married. He has one daughter.
His only hobby is labour.
